Practice
d-CONSTRUCT architects formed in July 1991, is an architectural design practice, of which Dylan Gower is the principal. Initially evolving from a trade based background undertaking design and construct and fitout projects whilst the principal was completing his architectural education, the practice now is solely design orientated.

Principles
Inherent to the practice's philosophy and design process are ESD principles (Environmentally Sustainable Development) which relate to issues of sustainability and energy efficiency.

Proposal
Due to the nature of most projects, a problem solving based approach is adopted where on-site analysis and concurrent university education informs opinions and responses in finding effective solutions.The practice's objective is to create environments responsive to the clients needs, comfortable to future inhabitants, yet having consideration for the existing built and natural environment.

Process
The practice will undertake the production of conceptual, developmental and detailed design drawings necessary to implement construction of the projects. ArchiCAD is utilised to document and visually present the projects.

Projects
d-CONSTRUCT designs predominantly residential buildings, small retail and commercial projects as well as Public Works. Whilst providing a more efficient, professional service as well as exploring the possibilities of creating adventurous, architectural environments; d-CONSTRUCT architects with the co-operation and trust of future and current clients hopes to push the bounds of the most direct approach.
